Free Parenting Talk: Understanding And Managing Your Child's Behaviors

Behaviors in children with Autism (ASD) can range from acting out behaviors like tantrums, self-aggression, to passive behaviours, like engaging in self-stimulation and a lack of response. If they are not understood and managed, the child's learning and development can be affected.

In this talk, we will:
Examine the different types of behaviors, how some are learned and identify why they occur.
- Share
techniques that will proactively address disruptive behaviors to prepare a child to be more ready to learn.

During this session, we will also break into small groups for discussion.

Date: March 28 (Saturday)
