• Description

Understanding the specific characteristics, abilities, challenges and needs of an individual on the autism spectrum will help you view their behaviors in a different light. Knowing how their brain works, and their real needs will also provide you with a deeper understanding of why things can be difficult for them and for you.

What Really Works for Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum will help you develop strategies that will create positive moments at home, classroom, or workplace. This will enable individuals on the autism spectrum to develop meaningful relationships with the important people in their lives. In this presentation, we will introduce you to the 10 basic needs of individuals on the autism spectrum and explore some strategies to address each of these needs.
