    This 3-day course is designed for adults on the autism spectrum seeking to increase their independence through an authentic and immersive experience focused on essential life skills.

    Throughout the course, participants will engage in hands-on learning, interactive workshops, and collaborative activities to develop foundational independent living skills. From mastering practical tasks to fostering social connections, each aspect of the program is carefully crafted to empower individuals to thrive in various aspects of community living.

  • Learning Goals
    • Develop foundational independent living skills in the areas of meal preparation and room organisation
    • Foster a sense of routine and organisation in daily life
  • Prerequisites
    • Independent in basic Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
    • Able to communicate basic needs (e.g., yes/no, make choices, request for items, request for help)
    • Able to regulate behaviour and emotions most of the time with the support of others or independently
    • Able to learn in small groups settings
    • Comfortable with small group communication and interactive activities
    • Able to follow simple step-by-step instructions
    • Able to rest quietly during breaks
    • Availability to attend full three days of training

  • Fees and Subsidies

    Full fee: S$1,280.75 per participant
    After SG Enable Training Grant: *S$164.50 per participant
    *Balance fees claimable using SkillsFuture Credits or Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA)

    Add-on: To enhance the learning experience in this programme, simply top-up S$109 for a 2-night stay-in component. This amount is NOT eligible for SG Enable Training Grant, Skillsfuture credits and PSEA.

  • Additional Information

    SG Enable Training Grant:

    • Applicable for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents aged 16 years and above.
    • Not pursuing full-time education or enrolled in any government or Special Education school.
    • Course fee funding is only available for eligible persons with disabilities.
    • The disabilities supported are: physical disability, sensory disability, intellectual disability and developmental disability.
    • Registered as a Person with Disability (PWD) with SG Enable.
    • Disability status can be verified via SupportGoWhere ⬅ click to find out.
    • Must attend all training sessions.


    ARC(S) will follow up with an email to request for the following documents:


    SkillsFuture Credit:

    • For all Singaporeans aged 25 years and above.
    • S$500 opening SkillsFuture Credit does not expire.


    Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA)

    • A PSEA account will be opened for Singapore Citizens who have a balance in either their:
      • Child Development Account (CDA) in the year they turn 13 years old.
      • Edusave Account in the year they turn 17 years old, or no longer studying in an MOE-funded school, whichever is later.
    • The account holder's PSEA will be closed around the middle of the year in which they turn 31.
