Lowered Special Student Care Centre (SSCCs) fee caps
The Ministry of Social and Family Development has announced plans to lower the Special Student Care Centre fee caps for middle-income families. These families will see their out-of-pocket expenses reduced by up to 40%.
Overview
Special Student Care Centres (SSCCs) provide before and after school care services to Special Education (SPED) school-going students with disabilities aged 7 to 18.
The care services could also include educational support, social and life skills for independent living.
