Extra•Ordinary People’s Programmes

Extra•Ordinary People has been steadfast in our mission to integrate persons with special needs into society. Our comprehensive Integrated Programmes aims to equip individuals with essential skills and knowledge in preparation for independent living. This is achieved through a multi-disciplinary approach to engagement, exposure to social enterprise opportunities and social integration through employment opportunities.

Shining Star Programme – A comprehensive arts-driven and play-based programme which aims to improve a child’s cognitive functioning. For persons with special needs aged 7 to 18 and beyond.

Extra•Ordinary Campus – A post-18 programme which engages individuals through a series of meaningful activities, thereby equipping them with essential skills and preparing them for successful integration into society and/or gainful employment. For persons with special needs aged 18 and above.

Highlights of the Extra•Ordinary Campus

  • Supervised programme for optimal social engagement, learning and discovery, leading to increased employability
  • In- and out-of-centre experiences for programme and vocational training
  • Extensive Caregiver support
  • Support from Special Needs Qualified Medical Doctor and network of community partners
  • Runs for 5 full days a week (Monday to Friday) from 9am to 5pm
  • Average class size: 3 pax with SPED-trained lead trainer
